Please take notice of these important appointment policies

 

24 Hour Appointment Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy

I understand that unanticipated events can occasionally happen in everyone’s life and that sometimes they can get in the way of a scheduled event. Cancellations and rescheduling requests with less than 24 hours’ notice or no notice at all are difficult to fill and prevent someone else from being able to schedule into that time slot.  Out of deference to all of my clients New Day Bodyworks, LLC maintains a 24 hour cancellation/rescheduling policy as follows: 

 

1)  If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice you will be charged half the price of that session.  If you are visiting me on a gift certificate you will forfeit your gift certificate or in case of a multiple session gift certificate you will forfeit that single session.

2) Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment with no contact, will be considered a “no-show”.  In that case you will be charged the full price of the missed session. If you are visiting me on a gift certificate you will forfeit your gift certificate. In the case of a multiple session gift certificate you will forfeit that single session.

3) Should late or no-show cancellations persist, full payment for sessions will be billed up front at the time of booking, or in extreme cases I will have to stop booking appointments with you all together.

Tardiness

Appointment times are as scheduled and cannot extend beyond the stated time to accommodate late arrivals. Please be on time to your appointment or ideally, arrive 5 minutes early if you can. Any late arrival of 15 minutes or more will result in a cancellation of the session and the provisions above will apply. 

 

Illness

If there are any health issues present at the time of your scheduled massage that might make massage a bad idea, including fever/cold/flu/sickness, etc. please contact me BEFORE your massage. If you are pregnant at the time of your massage appointment, please contact me BEFORE your arrival.  New Day Bodyworks does not offer pre/post natal massage services. Other conditions that can also make massage inappropriate include contagious skin conditions such as poison ivy, open cuts or recent surgical incisions. In these cases, once again I ask that you please contact me BEFORE your session so we can determine if massage is appropriate. If your cancellation under these circumstances is within the 24-hour notice period, the cancellation provisions may be waived.

Since all massage services are by appointment only, a major credit card is required to hold your appointment. You will not be charged until massage services are rendered or one of the above situations has transpired.
